Bethany Convent Secondary School, Limboi, celebrated its much-awaited Annual Sports Day on 13th November 2025 with great enthusiasm, energy, and vibrant school spirit. The entire campus was filled with excitement as students, teachers, and parents gathered to witness a day dedicated to fitness, teamwork, and sporting excellence.
The programme began with a joyful welcome to the Chief Guest, Constable Mrs Hetalben Govindbharti Gauswami, whose presence inspired the young sportspersons. We were also honoured to have Fr Shaiji and Sr Justine Gracy as the Guests of Honour for the event.
The day commenced with the march past, where students of all houses proudly displayed discipline, coordination, and unity. The school flag was hoisted, followed by the lighting of the torch, symbolising the spirit of sportsmanship and determination. A series of exciting events lined up for students from various classes. Track events such as 100m, 200m, relay races, and field events like long jump and discus throw kept the audience cheering. The aerobics displays showcased the physical fitness and creativity of our students.
The highlight of the day was the final relay, where the spirit of healthy competition and teamwork shone brightly.
In her address, the Chief Guest, Mrs Hetalben Govindbharti Gauswami, applauded the students for their discipline, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship.
The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where the winners were awarded medals and certificates. At the end of the events, the Green Team emerged as the Overall Champion, bringing great pride and excitement to the house.
The cheers of students and proud smiles of the winners marked the perfect end to a vibrant and successful Sports Day.
