Bethany Convent School, Limboi, Vadgam celebrated World Environment Day on 10th July, 2026 with great enthusiasm to create awareness about protecting the environment. The programme began with a prayer. Sr Laveena Maria BS, the Vice President of BCT gave a start for the celebration by watering the plant. Sr Veena Crasta BS, The Principal addressed the students and highlighted the importance of conserving nature, reducing pollution, and planting more trees. Mr Devda Rajendra Sinh physical education teacher spoke about the importance of the day.
The students of Gujarati Medium presented skit on environmental conservation. A tree plantation drive was organized on the school campus, and students pledged to protect the environment by keeping their surroundings clean and reducing the use of plastic. Students spent two minutes in silent prayer praying for the rain.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by Sr Ileene Joy BS, the Secretary of BCT. The programme inspired everyone to take responsibility for protecting the Earth and to work together for a cleaner, greener, and healthier future.
