The Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the birthday of Mother Mary, was celebrated with great devotion and joy at Bethany Convent, Limboi on 8th September 2025. It was a day of double significance as it was also observed as a family feast and the feast of the harvest, thanking God for His abundant blessings.
The Holy Eucharist was celebrated at 7.00 pm by Fr Jayaraj, the Assistant Parish Priest, and concelebrated by Fr Shaiji, the Parish Priest of Vadgam. During the mass, special prayers were offered for the Bethany family and for the well-being of all our families.
After the Eucharistic celebration, everyone gathered for a family meal. A variety of vegetable curries were served as a symbol of gratitude to God for the new harvest. The meal was delicious, and all enjoyed the fellowship and togetherness.
The celebration concluded on a joyful note by singing the hymn “Laudate Domino”, praising God for His love, blessings, and the gift of family. The day was filled with faith, gratitude, and joy, strengthening the bond of unity among the Bethany community.
