The Girl Child Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on 7th September 2025 at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Children from various mission places like Palanpur, Pethapur, Gandhinagar, and other nearby regions actively participated in the event. The program began with a prayer service invoking God’s blessings upon all girl children. Priests, religious sisters, graced the occasion with their words of encouragement.
The highlight of the celebration was the mesmerizing performance by the hostel girls from Pushpalaya Girls’ Hostel, Limboi. They presented a meaningful skit depicting the importance of educating and empowering the girl child. The girls also enacted yogasana sequences, symbolising strength, discipline, and harmony. They also performed a vibrant garba dance, reflecting Gujarat’s rich culture and traditions. The graceful movements and synchronized steps of the garba were admired by everyone present.
The audience applauded the girls for their dedication, talent, and confidence displayed on stage. Speakers of the day emphasized the value of giving equal opportunities to girls in education and society.
The priests and sisters appreciated the collective efforts of the organizers and participants. The program also created awareness about the rights, dignity, and potential of the girl child. The event successfully brought together children, teachers, priests, and sisters in a spirit of unity and celebration.
